I went a year of traveling without really knowing how to book cheap flights ???? However, when I discovered the following website and its features, I realized how affordable traveling could actually be!!
We all know that flights are the biggest money-drainers when it comes to traveling, so it’s essential to learn how to book cheap flights and which search engines + hacks to utilize ????
Press PLAY & read below to learn how to book cheap flights!
1. Use Skycanner & all its features to book cheap flights!
First and foremost, Skyscanner ALWAYS has the cheapest prices. Well, at least in my experience booking flights the past years! Other booking sites don’t even come close, for several reasons.
Probably the biggest reason is that Skyscanner compares prices on ALL booking sites, and ranks them by cheapest to most expensive! This is extremely different than using, for example, just Expedia since the search results will only show prices listed on that particular website. Skyscanner also doesn’t charge booking fees for using their platform the way other booking sites do.
Another reason Skyscanner is the BEST is that it includes both budget and local airlines in its search results, as well as combination airlines. The latter lets you book one airline on the departure and a different on the return flight, in order to get the cheapest price combo.
2. Be Flexible
If you can be flexible with either the flight destination or travel date- then BE FLEXIBLE!
Skyscanner rewards both scenarios. For instance, if your desired destination is undecided, choose the “Everywhere” option from the destination drop-down menu when looking for flights. This will then show you the cheapest places to fly to from your local airport! This is usually how I choose where I’m traveling to next!
If you’re flexible with your travel dates, Skyscanner also has a feature that will allow you to see the cheapest months, and even days to fly to your desired destination!

3. Use the price alert tool
If the destination you want to fly to is too expensive at the moment, don’t give up! Make sure to use Skyscanner’s price alert tool and it will email you any price fluctuations.
This has helped me afford to fly to countless places in the past after I got emails of huge price drops!
