You probably already know that hard alc cocktails are packed with empty calories. These drinks make your blood sugar peak to crazy levels, making you crave foods extremely high in sugar and fat the next day while hungover (in order to reach that peak- alcohol is literally a drug to the body!). This drink however cuts out all that excessive sugar, using all-natual light agave, and actually hydrates while the rum tries to dehydrate you (thank you coconut water)!! Plus, they aren’t weak either like most light cocktails- you will feel the buzz 🙂 The best summertime cocktail!

Serves: 4     Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup, Lime juice
  • 1 cup Raw Organic Coconut Water
  • 1 cup Mint
  • 1 tbsp. Light Agave Nectar
  • 1 cup White Rum

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and muddle the mint with a spoon (or the end of a wooden utensil that is flat). Poor the mixture into 4 glasses and then add ice on top and serve.
