How Do You Afford to Travel?
I make it my priority! While in college, I worked a job between classes and every summer, which is how I was able to pay for my first year long trip. I accepted the fact that I may be penniless by the time I got home, but my desire to travel outweighed that fear. I also made it a point to travel while I had no strings attached at home: no apartment, no bills, no pet…nothing to hold me back and drain my funds!
How Do You Make Money on The Road?
Like most travel bloggers, I make money with my blog and Instagram through brand collaborations and affiliate sales. I get a lot of questions about this, so stay tuned for a future post that’ll explore this in more depth!
Who Do You Travel With?
The majority of my time, I travel with my boyfriend of 4 years, who’s also a digital nomad (as long as WiFi’s available, we can work from anywhere in the world!). When I’m not traveling with my boyfriend, I’m with my family, my friends, or on a retreat.
What Camera(s) Do You Use?
My DSLR camera is a Canon 7D Mark ii and I use this for all portrait, close ups, and landscape shots. When my DSLR is too heavy to carry, I use my Canon G7X. For everything adventure, I use a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I highly recommend all of these cameras for travel photography!
What’s Your Favorite Country You’ve Travelled To?
My answer to this usually correlates to how much time I’ve spent in a country. I’ve lived in Thailand, Japan, Portugal, and Italy, and all have a very special place in my heart!
